The
mother of these puppies is Covenant Farm puppy herself,
but she is not owned by us. Her name is Sunny Skye Over Covenant Farm. The sire of these pups is Halo's Rebel Take Warning Prince Of The Hills. Rebel is a rare find, a true fox red English Lab (more details in the profiles below). We are helping a new breeder and friend to get established. We will be screening for placement in good homes.
These puppies will come with AKC registration and lifetime support from the breeder, Robin Sheffield. We gladly lend our reputation to her as she gets started in her own small breeding program.

is a sweet, gentle lass with a friendly demeanor and nice disposition. She is a natural, easygoing Mom. Very attentive to her
babies, while not being nervous or aggressive when people approach
them. Skye is about 80 lbs, a well-built lass. The photo at right taken when she was still maturing at age 2. She is now 5 years old. This is her third litter. |

This
is Rob
Roy. He's our English yellow stud, and weighs about
110 lbs. He's a very laid-back lad. He loves the water, and
is wet and dirty most of the time, because he spends so much
time in our ponds. But once he's done with his daily romp, he's
a big couch potato. He's a very calm, even-tempered lad, a gentle
giant, sweet and tender with young puppies, tussling without
overwhelming younger and smaller dogs. His
nicknames include,
"Bobby" and "Robbie-Bob". |

Halo's Rebel Take Warning Prince Of The Hills

Rebel is a true fox red English Labrador, he is dark red. He is 22 inches at the shoulder and weighs 85 pounds. He is AKC registered and has his good citizen and therapy titles through the AKC.
Fox red is genetically yellow in Labradors. When the yellow color gene was first being developed, red Labs were very common and popular, but over time lost their popularity. But in recent years some breeders have been making the attempt to bring them back. Rebel will no doubt be a part in that come-back. Not yet two years old, he is a stunning example of what fox red Lab should look like. |
